Wacca Wache Marina - Murrells Inlet, SC

​The Waccamaw River in South Carolina is beautiful and one of the most enjoyable parts of the ICW. We stopped at Wacca Wache in November of 2023, in part to take advantage of their low fuel prices, but as it turned out we had a very nice overnight stay. The staff there are a lot of fun, the fuel price was the best we saw on our entire journey, and our slip was just right in front of the restaurant. The floating docks were in good shape and we had no problem with electric or water. 

As a matter of fact, in addition to low fuel prices Wacca Wache also had the best electric price I have ever seen, $.10 per foot, or in our case $4.60 for the night.  There were only two single bathroom/shower combinations, but that was sufficient at this time and they were above average. WiFi was solid. We ate at the restaurant as it had been a long day going through Myrtle Beach and had a good meal. Thankfully the dockhands saw us coming on AIS and stayed around to help us get fuel and tie up at the slip. Definitely a good experience, extremely easy in and out to the ICW and worth a return visit.
