Homer Smith's Docks and Marina, Beaufort, NC

Homer Smith's is a fairly large marina with excellent floating docks. We made our reservations through Dockwa, which is very convenient. Different than a lot of marinas, Homer Smith's sent an email with slip assignment in advance of our arrival. This was very helpful with our planning. We were met at the dock and the helpful staff tied us up securely on the T-head. Fuel and pumpout service is available. The Onspot Wifi worked very well. The marina has a washer and dryer that are free to use as well as two courtesy cars if you need supplies or provisioning. One negative is that there is only one bathroom/shower for the entire marina. We mostly used the heads on the boat. The marina is located three blocks from the center of town which has a number of shops and restaurants. There are a number of shops that carry nautically themed items.
