Fort Pierce City Marina - Fort Pierce, FL
Most recent visit: March 21-25, 2024 This marina is very convenient to the ICW as well as the easily navigable Fort Pierce Inlet. The large marina is centrally located for those cruising up and down the Florida ICW and just a short walk from downtown Fort Pierce with many shops and restaurants. There is also a restaurant on site. A city park is next door to the marina. You can frequently find entertainment and vendors set up in the park. The town sponsors a large Saturday morning Farmers Market where we were able to get fresh produce and baked goods in addition to some specialty items. The marina has a busy fuel dock that also provides pump out service. It is important to know that the current can be quite strong in the fairways and strong wind will add to the adventure, both fueling and docking. There are both fixed and floating docks, however floating docks may have limited availability. The marina staff is very helpful with both fueling and docking assistance. Bathroom and shower facilities are key access and located in the marina office building. Laundry facilities are located next to the bathrooms and also has key access. There is a ships store in the marina office and has a variety of items. This is a large marina with a lot of activity, especially on the weekends, so be sure to make reservations in advance. Free OnSpot WIFI is available and despite being docked right next to an antenna, we found the signal to be inconsistent at times. We were able to use it for TV streaming at night. |
