Marineland Marina, Marineland, FL
This is a small marina and very affordable immediately off of the ICW just south of the Matanzas Inlet. The marina has a number of floating docks, however we were assigned a bulkhead tie up. There was quite a tide swing which led to a bit of trouble getting on and off the boat. The marina is steps away from the Marineland attraction which is right next to the Atlantic Ocean. It is worth a visit to see the dolphin shows and enjoy some of the other exhibits. The marina has free pump out service but no fuel. There are bathroom, shower and laundry facilities, but no other amenities. The dockmaster was quite helpful getting us tied up when we arrived. Reservations were made by calling the marina directly. The marina seems to have plenty of depth, however we had a little trouble departing at low tide. There may be a small shallow spot near the bulkhead, as I felt like we had some trouble moving away from it. |
