Cocoa Village Marina, Cocoa, FL
During our cruises through Florida and the Indian River, Cocoa was one of our favorite stops. The Cocoa Village Marina provides safe dockage just blocks from downtown Cocoa with a number of shops and restaurants. The marina has fixed docks, but has minimal tide variation and no current. There can be a fetch across the water if the wind is coming from the right direction. There is a very nice boaters' lounge, but it was closed due to the pandemic during our stays. The bathroom and shower facilities are excellent as is the laundry. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The docks are gated and require a code to enter after hours. We had minimal success with the WIFI during our stay and resorted to using our phones as hotspots. On your walk through town, you won't want to miss the Travis Hardware Store. I have been in a lot of hardware stores in my time, but none match Travis. Cocoa Village also has a very nice waterfront park. |
