Good customer service is the priority at Belhaven Marina. The competent staff are attentive to the needs of the boaters and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. We stayed overnight on a Saturday and the staff was completing maintenance tasks until at least 7:00pm. Boats can be fueled in their slip, eliminating the need to move to a separate fuel dock. The marina is a few steps away from the small downtown area that has a few restaurants, Ace Hardware, bakery, coffee shop and more.

There are two private bathrooms with showers for boaters and clean towels are provided. There is also a free laundry with the soap and dryer sheets supplied. The docks are fixed, but have been customized to facilitate easy access to and from your boat. Large ball fenders are placed at each piling to protect your boat. You don't even need to put your own out.

The marina Wifi was ok, but the service seemed to be intermittent and not completely reliable. Television reception was minimal. We had three bars of ATT cellular signal.

Belhaven is a good midway stop for those traveling between Beaufort or Morehead City and Coinjock. We used Dockwa to make our reservations and the marina responded promptly to our reservation request.
